Blackout curtains block light through the fabric, so when a bright line still shows, it is coming round the edges. The fix is mostly about cover: how far the curtain reaches past the frame at the sides, how high the rod sits, and where the hem falls.

A long 280 cm drop leaves room to hang the rod high and let the curtain reach the floor, which is where most leaks get fixed. At 140 cm wide it suits a window of roughly 90 cm if you want gentle folds.
