How should you set a table? Drag each piece into place

A table that is set properly is mostly a handful of distances: the plate 2–3 cm from the edge, cutlery in a tidy line beside it, and about 60 cm of table for each person.

Drag a fork, knife, spoon, glass and napkin onto a place setting to learn the rules, then type in your own table length to see how many places actually fit. Works with whatever plates you already own.

A top-down place setting: plate with fork on the left, knife and spoon on the right, a glass above
